Midterm Diagram

This is from the midterm that I forgot to post on the blog!

The diagram that I have created is a solar system type of diagram with each planet of theory orbiting around the imagined sun of literary criticism. I did not include the center of the solar system in this diagram, since I did not want to show one theory as being closer to the sun or more correct than others, but rather have portrayed the “planets of theory” as a journey of beginning to end. Within the diagram, each planet has its orbiting moons representing the various related theorists.
Though most of the design is fairly basic in appearance, a few nuances exist to show the different theories. For example, the “planet of Romantic Theory” has rings, since they would be the only theorists who would care about having an aesthetically pleasing, nature filled planet. Also, the “planet of Classical Theory” demonstrates the two viewpoints of Plato—who is outside of the planet—compared to Aristotle, who is focused on the particulars of the planet.

Not the best upload format, but I'm not sure of any other way...
